Roman Soldier

Well I did this a few months ago after reading many Frank Miller Sin City graphic novels. I loved those books and the impact of the black and white pictures. I felt I would do one copy of his work and this one of a Roman Soldier really struck me. I love the shape of his helmet, his dominant stance, and the stormy light reflecting off of his armour and arms. I did this completely with a marker and was lucky I didn't make any mistakes. Anyway, I hope you enjoy, I know this was one of my favourite recent pieces to do... got to do more centurions
